The Altcoin Shorter (anonymous): trade history, replayed

GMX At most ~$33K in, ~$166K net, mostly from shorting altcoins

An anonymous GMX wallet on Arbitrum. Nobody has publicly claimed it, so the name is our nickname, not an identity. From December 2024 to July 2026 it traded 348 positions in 83 markets; 289 of them were shorts, mostly on altcoins such as GMX, NEAR, TAO, ONDO and CRV, and the shorts made about $146K of its profit. GMX's own statistics put the most capital it had in at once at about $33K; after fees it made about $166K. It traded much less after March 2026. It was found by screening GMX's public leaderboard on profit after fees, so it is one of the few that made it, not a typical result.

About the data

Every executed position order of the wallet on GMX v2 (Arbitrum), read from GMX's public data index and rebuilt into positions; each position's orders chain together without gaps, every position is closed, and the totals match GMX's own statistics. Position fees, borrowing fees and funding paid are included; funding received is not. 40 positions are in markets without a chart source and are listed without a chart.

Every GMX position change is a public transaction on Arbitrum, and we cannot change it. Look up the address below on Arbiscan or the GMX app; the trades and profit should match this page.

GMX has no account deposits: collateral goes straight into each position. The capital figure is GMX's own statistic for the most collateral this wallet had in positions at once (33,164 USD), so the return on this page is net profit divided by that peak, not by deposits.
